@@ZacHigham nice one pal. My lad has taken to it. He’s 11 and he’s done the hope line at gisburn no worries (didn’t drop tho). You think that will be ok for him at nab? Have they cut all the trees down?

@@petewilson2054 Yeah he will be fine with 90% of the stuff here, it’s all relatively similar to the Hope line if not easier

Agreed, I still prefer them over the long slow trail centre type stuff though! Thank you, appreciate it - I don’t really know of anything else other than rivi pike which isn’t really the best… much better going a little further up north.

@@ZacHigham cheers mate, i tried a few hillside trails over toward Darwin tower way but loads just came to dead ends or gates with loads of those "No Mountain Biking" signs that the bloody ramblers keep putting up round our way, i will have to keep searching once ive changed the forks on my Giant Trance and made it a 1x9 cheers buddy

@@PmatWolf White coppice descent is alright, little sketchy in places but its not bad. Ramblers just need to do one, if its unpaved greenway anyone has access to it.

Yep it was a close one! I didn’t think cars were allowed up there to be honest but it turns out they were, maybe it’s time to add some slow down signs for cyclists ahah Rangers path looks so good, but 40mph is seriously quick!

@@ZacHigham oh those speeds were on the gravel trail section after ranger (letter box ally?) and on that last road section like in your vid. I managed to scrub some speed off as it turns out, I hit it at around 30 instead 🤣 rangers is awesome and bit tough, but I was riding a 26”, so made everything feel like a boulder 🤣

@@ZacHigham yeah...they had 35k funding I think...mint little track, don't know if you've heard about Wharncliffe wood opposite Grenoside but that is absolutely full of trails too

@@Mcfc2Rich I believe so, it’s great to hear and I bet the race had a lot to contribute also! I have heard of Wharncliffe, it’s not far from me but I’ve never been - I have heard really good stuff about the place.

Yes we went up on the Llanberris path and descended the Llanberris path! I would say a good 95% of it is easily walkable (or rideable depending on will power), the other 5% is a bike on the back or a hefty push up some rocks! It was a while ago so there may be some things that I missed, but pretty much all of the descent is in this video!

I would reccomend a full sus but it’s do-able on a hard tail I suppose once you get lower down. We hiked up & descended the Llanberis path, the place was absolutely rammed and about 30 degrees, took us a few hours and it wrote us off ahah
